Worm.Randex is an Internet worm spreading through file-sharing. It uses port 445 to copy itself onto a random machine. Worm.Randex includes backdoor capabilities that allow a remote attacker to access and control the victim's computer via IRC channels. This network of zombie machines may be used to spread spam or as a platform to launch DDoS attacks.
