Skipi, also known as W32/Pykse.Worm, is a worm that propagates through Skype chat messages. Once it is installed, Worm.Skipi.b will send its copies in a message to all of your Skype contacts, and change your Skype status to "Do Not Disturb". Worm.Skipi.b will then start to download and install large amounts of malware. Worm.Skipi.b will also add records to your HOSTS file in order to block you from visiting certain security related sites, and will even terminate several antivirus programs. Worm.Skipi.b is believed to be created in Lithuania.
