Yoogle

Posted: March 2, 2020

Yoogle is a dodgy browser add-on that has been removed from the official Google Chrome Store due to receiving excessive negative reports from unhappy users. However, copies of the Yoogle add-on may still be found online on shady download sites, and the bogus extension also may be promoted via fraudulent browser pop-ups and alerts. Users who install the Yoogle add-on might not see any new features added to their Web browser, but they may soon experience a sudden increase in the number of advertisements they see online. This is because the Yoogle add-on uses a wide variety of advertising techniques to deliver marketing content to active Web browser windows – it may display banners, pop-ups, inline text advertisements, and other advertising content.

The Yoogle add-on is often promoted as a Chrome extension that users must install to view embedded media content – the bogus alert often may bother users who have a tendency to seek pirated TV series and movies on shady websites.

If you remember installing the Yoogle recently, then you are likely to be facing already the annoying behavior that this add-on tends to exhibit. Thankfully, all you need to do to resolve the issue is to remove Yoogle from your computer. You can make its removal either manually or with the use of a suitable security scanner.
