Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

The Your Daily Trailer is a Mindspark Interactive Product whose purpose is to enhance both a Web browser's functionality and the user's Web browsing experience by displaying updates regarding the latest available movie trailers. The content that the Your Daily Trailer promotes is provided by a website that will be set as the user's default new tab page as soon as the Your Daily Trailer installed. The good news is that the new tab page that the Your Daily Trailer brings is not an unsafe one and, in fact, it is identical to the search pages promoted by other Mindspark products like the RadioRage Toolbar, the CatHomepage Toolbar, and the MapsGalaxy Toolbar. The only notable difference is that the Your Daily Trailer's default new tab page features buttons that lead users to online streaming services that host movie and TV series trailers.
The installation of the Your Daily Trailer is not going to cause any issues aside that some users might be unhappy with the fact that this software asks them to use a 3rd-party new tab page. It is worth noting that the trailer content that the Your Daily Trailer claims to provide is not hosted on Mindspark's servers and, instead, the links simply redirect users to 3rd-party websites that are used to host trailers and other relevant media. This means that users who wish to find trailers online don't need to use the Your Daily Trailer extension necessarily, and can achieve the same result by simply searching for trailers via Google, Bing, Yahoo, or another search engine.
If you think that the Your Daily Trailer is not required on your computer or if you'd like to restore your previous new tab page, then you need to consider uninstalling the Your Daily Trailer. Since this software is safe, it can be removed via your primary Web browser's extension manager.
