Zippernew is a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP that may turn out to be inefficient and annoying. The developers of this software advertise it as a tool for file compression/decompression. According to the description, Zippernew covers more than 16 different formats, has a user-friendly interface and works very fast. On its official site, you can also find many positive user testimonials. In reality, the reviews may be fabricated, and the actual feedback about Zippernew is very negative. The main reason the majority of PC users don't appreciate this PUP is related to the unrequested modifications that it may cause to Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. Zippernew may be responsible for the creation of additional commercial materials. These new ads, which may be pop-ups, banners, interstitial ads or targeted videos, may become a real setback because they tend to be aggressive. You may encounter them in various domains. Some of them may appear on top of site buttons to force you click on them. Others may contain a fake 'X' button that doesn't close the ad but opens the link. The commercial materials, especially those that contain heavy multimedia elements, may trouble the performance of the browsers. Common complaints are slower loading speed, unexplainable freezes or random crashes. Zippernew may use tracking cookies to make the displayed coupons and discounts user-relevant in order to attract the attention of the person. However, you should proceed with caution because there is a chance for some of the partner sites to be unsafe. If you wish to remove the unrequested ads from your browsers, you should take measures to delete this PUP.
