Zlob.TVCodec is a variant of the Zlob.Trojan malware. Zlob.TVCodec masquerades as a video codec. Zlob.TVCodec is malicious and extremely dangerous. Zlob.TVCodec installs itself secretly through deceptive mechanisms, such as browser security exploits, and opens up a backdoor security hole, allowing remote attackers to control your computer, execute programs, download additional malware, and steal personal data and credit card information. Zlob.TVCodec may also install rogue anti-spyware programs and deliver excessive numbers of pop-up advertisements.
