Desktop Enhancements

Desktop enhancements are software programs created for the purpose of tweaking the Windows desktop usually outside of the included control panel settings. Desktop enhancements may include programs that allow computer users to change icons, clock settings, screensavers, and Windows themes. Many third party desktop enhancements add additional functionality to the Windows operating system allowing users to benefit from added features that Windows may not have originally been designed for.
