IP Telephony
IP Telephony (Internet Protocol Telephony) is a term used for the IP’s packet-switched connections. These connections vary from voice, fax, and other dedicated transfer methods. The use of circuit switches is needed in some cases for IP Telephony devices to communicate properly to other receiving devices. Additionally, IP Telephony can share lines to transmit data in packets or groups.
