RSS applications are programs created to provide news updates from a specific website in a simplified format. An aggregator, or RSS application, is used to read news stories from RSS Feeds. RSS Feed information is available on many websites in a language that an RSS Application must be used to correctly decipher. RSS Applications allow computer users to compose several website’s feed into one easy-to-read hierarchal list.
