Anonymous Hackers Threaten ISIS Again After Brussels Terror Attacks

anonymous hackers attack isis after brusselsIt's an understatement when the Anonymous hacker group voices "Our freedom is once again under attack" in their latest video in an answer to ISIS' latest terror attack on Brussels. That's right, Anonymous hackers are back at it, ramping up their efforts to attack ISIS again on the cyber front after the terrorist group took credit for a bombing in Brussels that claimed the lives of dozens and injured hundreds.

Anonymous has been known to be a hacker group that makes their stance on many issues well known by attacking the opposition through cyberattacks. In ISIS' latest attacks on Paris and now Brussels, Anonymous is hell-bent on causing major disruptions in the Jihadist Islamic State of Iraq and Syria group. Their release of the video below is an answer to the ISIS-waged attack on Brussels with a promise to "severely punish ISIS" after the recent attack.

The unfortunate events of the Brussels attack have resulted in the death of at least 34 people and 230 injured in the suicide bombings at the Zaventem airport and Maelbeek metro stop. While two of the brothers responsible for the Brussels attack were killed, one of them remains on the run. Anonymous' objective appears to be one that hurts the complete ISIS organization as a whole, not only the individual responsible for the Brussels attack on the loose.

Anonymous has made efforts to perpetuate the notion that their "supporters" and those who oppose the recent deadly actions of ISIS to join them and not fall back on discrimination against entire religious groups for the actions of a small portion. The set-minded hacker group has also vowed never to rest as long as terrorists continue their actions around the world. Anonymous further explains to the supporters of Daesh: "We will track you down. We will find you. We are everywhere and we are more than you can imagine. Be afraid. When they kill innocent civilians in Belgium, they hit everybody in Europe. We have to fight back."

As far as the specific actions that Anonymous will take in their alleged "attacks" on ISIS, we expect them to take down additional ISIS-owned Twitter accounts as well as other social entities belonging to the terror group. Just as Anonymous did to bring ISIS to their virtual knees on the Internet by taking down thousands of ISIS-owned Twitter accounts during the Paris attack, we expect the same to occur as an answer to the Brussels attack.

As you may know, Anonymous has attacked many other entities on the front of pure disagreements, such as speaking out against Donald Trump's rhetoric or organizations like the Ku Klux Klan. In many of those attacks, Anonymous claimed to expose personal details of each of the entities and allegedly publishing those details for everyone to see.

With Anonymous being relentless in their attacks, it will be no surprise to us to see many ISIS-owned entities over the Internet reach their demise in some shape or form in the weeks to come.
