Active Antivir is installed in secret and without your informed consent, onto your PC, due to trojans infiltrating the computer through security vulnerabilities. Once active, Active Antivir begins displaying annoying pop-up ads and fake security alerts testifying to your computer being infected with various parasites. Fake security scanners keep up the charade, tricking you into believing your PC is threatened by viruses, and that the only way to protect your computer is by purchasing and downloading the advertised spyware remover Active Antivir.
