Physical Access is not Needed to the PC. Attacker can send e-mail a tiny file to the PC, then connect to the PC via the e-mail address and start to monitor the subjects internet activity. The file looks like a regular e-mail.
It seems you have done some research to remove this. I could not access the internet. Come to find out, this infection is blocking access to security sites. Was able to download your SpyHunters malware scanner to my PC, purchased it, and then it clean my PC. It runs 100 times better and now i can go to ALL websites.
