Low Disk Space

Posted: January 14, 2011

"Low Disk Space" is a fake warning but may also be a genuine notification loaded by Windows. The message is used by fake system defragmenters like HDD Scan and HDD Control.

If the "Low Disk Space" popup is followed by an offer to buy software to remove the so-called threat, the notification is most likely counterfeit. Hackers design these cyber scams to con hapless computer users into spending their hard-earned money. Do not fall for this trickery and have your PC scanned using a reliable anti-virus program capable of removing any threat from the system.

no what you can do is rtesore to one of the rtesore points (in your recovery drive) then use acronis true image to create a image of the hard drive in 4.7GB sections. Then burn each section to a DVD and install from there..but at that point after restoring it there would be no point in imaging the hard drive. you can however when the pc starts up hit the key it specifies usually F8, ESC, F12, or DEL..then rtesore to factory settings.
