AdDynamix is a dangerous tracking cookie that can track or record personal information along with internet surfing habits. Information collected by the AdDynamix can be remotely accessed or sent to a hacker. Collection of personal information through AdDynamix could lead to identity theft. Once a system is infected with AdDynamix it may also start displaying bogus popup adverts leading the user to bogus websites that promote illegitimate security applications.

AdDynamix can be classified as an advertisement tracking cookie. An Advertisment tracking cookie can be easily mistaking for a legitimate popup ad. AdDynamix does not appear to be an immediate security risk because it does not actually store a computer users’ browsing history. However, AdDynamix may be used as a method to obtain personal data.

Tracking cookies were originally created for the legitimate purpose of storing user settings or preferences locally so they are concealed from the internet. Once a specific website is access, it can then access its designated cookie so that any user preferences are applied making the user experience more enjoyable. Over time hackers have used cookies to hide various spyware or malware parasites.

It is possible that other personal information such as logins to online accounts can be obtained by hackers through tracking cookies.

If you wish to completely uninstall and remove AdDynamix, simply using the add/remove/uninstall programs option in Windows will not suffice. It is very important to utilize a spyware removal tool to rid the system completely of AdDynamix before it is able to cause destruction and populate the system registry with bogus entries.
