ConverterPro Ads

ConverterPro is not the type of software you should use when you want to convert your files. The security experts define this application as Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP). It changes the configuration of your web browsers, which results in abnormal and unpleasant behavior. The efficiency of the application is unverified, which means you may face some errors when you try to change the formats of your files. As with the majority of PUPs, some of the promised features of ConverterPro are deceptive and are there only to trick the user into installing the software. The suspicious converter may also reach your system as a bundled element towards freeware. When it enters, ConverterPro immediately generates a series of ads like banners, pop-ups, pop-unders and hyperlinked words. The PUP may also redirect you towards some questionable search engines, such as www-searches.com or Trovi.com. Every page impression, created by ConverterPro, pays off as a referral commission for its developers. In the meantime, the user may face some issues, including related to the performance of the browser. You may notice that Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer start working slower than before, or they may even crash once in a while. It isn't confirmed that the promoted affiliate sites are safe, so you should stay away from the ads. The cyber security specialists encourage the users to delete ConverterPro promptly to maintain the system secure.
