KeyPlayer is considered to be adware that may be designed to create and show unwanted pop-up ads labeled 'Ads by KeyPlayer' on any website the PC user is visiting. KeyPlayer may underline certain words on a website and then display annoying pop-up advertisements. KeyPlayer may also display ads in pop-up windows, and when the PC user puts the mouse pointer over an image in a website. The ads displayed by KeyPlayer may unwillingly divert the PC user to unwanted websites that may be generated for advertising intentions that is to benefit from clicks on ads. KeyPlayer may proliferate and install itself onto the computer system as an additional application bundled with other free software that computer users can download from unreliable download websites.
