Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

The Nav Search is a browser extension, which might be promoted via online advertisements, which promise that this tool will provide users with access to an enhanced search utility that will help them find the most relevant Web results. Unfortunately, these promises are untrue, and the installation of the Nav Search will not do anything to enhance your ability to search the Web. It will, however, bring a change to your Web browser's configuration, and you are unlikely to enjoy it. The change in question concerns the default search aggregator that your Web browser uses – it will be set to Nav-search.com/Web?q=. This means that all search queries that you initialize through the address bar will take you to the Nav-search.com search feature. While this is not an unsafe action, it might disrupt your Web searching experience, when you take into account the fact that Nav-search.com/Web?q= does not yield any results at the time of writing especially.
If you notice that your searches are redirected to Nav-search.com instead of to your favored search engine, then it is probable that you have the 'the Nav Search' add-on present on your computer. Thankfully, this tool is not harmful, but it can still be removed with the help of up-to-date security software that is likely to detect it as a 'Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP). Since the Nav Search is not unsafe, you are not obligated to remove it. However, this is the recommended course of action if you wish to restore your Web browser's configuration and stay away from questionable search aggregators like the one found at Nav-search.com.
