TechAgent is a useless ad-based application that you should not install. Its developers present TechAgent as a tool that will make your PC more secure. In reality, this adware may achieve exactly the opposite. The description of TechAgent states that it will help you find experienced technical support agents that can fix any issues with your PC. Some users may assume wrongly the software is designed to help, which may not be the case. TechAgent may fill your browser with fake warnings that list nonexistent cyber threats. These pop-ups may suggest you dial a phone number for assistance. However, if you do it, you will not get in touch with professionals that can resolve issues. The people who answer these calls are con artists. They may try to sell you unreliable software with a very expensive license. The crooks also may attempt to charge you a fee for their services. These types of tactics may result in financial losses of a few hundred dollars. It is not recommended to provide the alleged technical support agents with remote access to your PC because they may infect it with threats. The TechAgent ads may become especially annoying. The questionable extension may be compatible with various browsers, including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. As a result, you may start encountering bogus security alerts whenever you go online. The loading of pop-ups, banners, multimedia ads and interstitial ads may deteriorate the performance of your Web clients. The list of possible functionality issues includes freezes, crashes or speed drops. Although some of the ads by TechAgent may seem relevant to your taste, you should abstain from clicking on them. There is a very high chance for some of them to open harmful domains associated with various unsafe activities. If you didn't install TechAgent from its official site, it most likely means that it has come together with other freeware. It may be very difficult to delete this questionable application manually, so you should consider using credible security software.
