anonymous hackers continue attacks on isisWith no signs of slowing down their efforts to attack ISIS on the internet front, the Anonymous hacker group is promising to dig through social media accounts related to ISIS to take them down and deface them with the famous Rick Astley "Never Gonna Give You Up" song.

The Anonymous hacker group continues their excursion of attacking and taking down online social accounts and websites belonging to ISIS as a backlash of the recent deadly Paris attacks. The hacker group has already bragged about them taking down nearly 20,000 ISIS-owned Twitter accounts and their Dark Web portal forum where the terrorists used as a secretive communication platform. The latest efforts of the Anonymous hacker group are taking on a new life where there is somewhat of a comical tone by defacing ISIS sites or social accounts with the famous Rick Astley "Never Gonna Give You Up" song, which is considered to be a variation of the famous Rickrolling act.

Anonymous launched their latest ISIS attack campaign this week. The first indications of the campaign starting up was their IRC channels being filled with information on ISIS website database dumps being uploaded to Pastebin. In essence, Anonymous was successful in some approaches to take down ISIS sites and deliver the site's database to Pastebin for others to view.

A list put together by the GhostSec group, another hacktivist group who is also determined to assist with attacks on ISIS, contains several websites related to ISIS. The initial purpose of the list was to shame all hosting companies that host ISIS websites, which consists of over 70 URLs. Anonymous is said to utilize this very list to launch their attacks and potentially deface the sites while collecting and revealing all data on the website.

The hackers involved in the anti-ISIS actions on the internet, including Anonymous and GhostSec, are seeking new recruits to join the fight against ISIS over the internet. In the meantime, the Rick Astley "Never Gonna Give You Up" music video is getting some serious airtime.

Just as the #OpParis Anonymous tweets below explain, the group continues to let everyone in on their next moves and keep the public in the know of their actions to battle ISIS. At this point of Anonymous' ploy to attack ISIS over the internet, we believe that they are allowing things to become a big comical while they get some amusement out of the deal in more ways than one.
