anonymous hackers attacks on missouri gov bank sitesThe media hype surrounding the shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri has shifted gears many times warranting much attention. In the background of things taking place, the hacker collective Anonymous promises to take down Missouri government and bank sites in the wake of Ferguson's grand jury decision not to indict office Darren Wilson for the shooting of Michael Brown.

Hackers have long been proponents of certain groups and rights of individuals, and they feel it is their duty to attack the opposition in high profile cases from time to time. As such, hackers are siding with the protesters who feel the grand jury decision not to indict Officer Wilson was entirely wrong. In their disagreement, the hacker group Anonymous is said to carry out attacks on Missouri government and banking sites to take them down.

As what may be an off-shoot of the Anonymous hacker group, individuals calling themselves the GSA AMCF (Ghost Security Anonymous / AnonMafia Cyber Family) are disturbed by the grand jury decision. In the style that Anonymous is known for, the GSA AMCF group unleashed a video with voice-overs threatening the Missouri government and banking sites.

The expectations from the Anonymous hacker groups is still unclear, even when a substantial amount of time has passed since the debacle first started to hit the media waves. With the hacker groups still launching aggressive denial of service attacks (DDoS), the outcome of this unfortunate situation will not change. Taking down sites, which these hackers are perfectly capable of doing, won't matter much.

It is possible that the hackers who oppose groups and their actions, such as governments in the USA, will continue to make their threats and assure that they are heard by thousands of people. Additionally, the hackers will be taking action actually to bring down sites that they threaten. It may not be a surprise to find many sites succumb to the harsh and aggressive DDoS attacks wagered in the near future.

The videos below consist of a previous Anonymous threats made in response to the KKK interfering with the hacker group, which eventually led to a back and forth debacle of taking over Twitter accounts and attacking KKK-operated sites. The last video is a response to the Ferguson threats in an attack on the KKK, who claim to have supported Officer Darren Wilson.
