AV8

Posted: October 13, 2010

AV8 (or AV 8) is a rogue antivirus program designed to pilfer money from unwary computer users. AV 8 produces a security alert that tries to convince unwary computer users that their system is infected with malware. The corrupt program suggests users should click the "Remove All" button before paying for a so-called licensed version of AV8. Do not fall for this trickery and have AV 8 removed from your system immediately using a proven malware remover.

Somehow this program got installed on my desktop PC. Now I can't get into anything, Not even my desktop or my bios settings. I can't get into the place where I change the boot order or some other settings. I can't get windows to run in "Safe" mode either. I basically have a worthless P.C. Is there anything I can do to at least get to a place where I can uninstall AV8?
