AntiVirus Demo

Posted: March 26, 2010

ScreenshotAntiVirus Demo (or AntiVirus Demo ver 1.00) is a rogue antispyware program that produces false reports of threats. AntiVirus Demo ver 1.00 uses scareware to display fake security alerts to make you think that your computer is infected with malware. The only real infection is AntiVirus Demo itself. Once active AntiVirus Demo ver 1.00 produces a small window titled Antivirus Agent and an AntiVirus Security Alert titled "Threat detected!!". Do not fall for this trickery and become another victim of cybercrime. Use a proven antispyware program to remove all threats associated with this blatant scam.

I got my laptoP into Safe Mode but it still could't find the .exe file to do a system restore. And then the pop up came up again and started scanning and "finding infections" in safe mode.
