Antivirus Advance

Posted: September 23, 2008

Antivirus Advance is a rogue anti-spyware program that uses scare tactics to get you to purchase the full version of the Antivirus Advance program. Antivirus Advance, or AntivirusAdvance, may be downloaded and installed through the Zlob Trojan infection which can come from a fake video codec download or MediaAcces Codec installer which is present on porn websites. Antivirus Advance, if installed, may prompt you with popups or alert messages that say you have "compromising files" which is a bogus alert message. Computer users are urged to avoid downloading or purchasing Antivirus Advance no matter how legitimate the program may look.
