This new scam is a fraudulent message designed to mask a Bank of America notification where if you follow the links within the message it will redirect you to a malicious website where your information may be stolen.

If you do not have a Bank of America account then a "Bank of America Alert: Online Access Suspension Message" email should raise a red flag. It is the computer users who do have a Bank of America account who may end up falling victim to this scam. The web page that you may be redirect too from the "Bank of America Alert: Online Access Suspension Message" email link looks similar to a normal Bank of America website. This is part of the clever tactics that hackers perform which could lead to identity theft.
