Home Malware Programs Search Hijackers Bediddle.com

Bediddle.com

ScreenshotBediddle.com is a search engine that has appeared regularly as one of the first search results when popular search engines like Google and Yahoo have been hijacked by a Trojan. A hijacker or cyberattacker can use Trojans to hijack browsers, change the default home page, and modify search results to display "fake" results that redirect the user to websites of the hijacker's choosing.

When a user searches for a term on Google or Yahoo, the search results page may appear as regular results, except the result quality is different, the genuine results are burried below and are replaced by results with links to websites like Bediddle.com, Findstuff.com, and Nexplore.com. Once the user clicks on the Bediddle.com's search results, the user is redirected to Bediddle.com's search engine offering results based on the term that was searched for. Along with "fake" search results, the user will experience an excessive amount of annoying ads with the URL mtn6.com-com.ws.

If your search engine results have Bediddle.com or other search engines as the first search results for any searched term, your computer may have been infected with a Trojan. Hijackers will be able to steal your confidential information, it's recommended that you get rid of this Trojan as soon as possible with a reliable anti-malware program.
