Clearway Shield

Posted: November 18, 2009

Clearway Shield is a rogue anti-spyware program, which will convince you to spend money for nothing in return. Clearway Shield makes use of malicious trojans to enter the system, and will mislead users with fake advertising which promotes a so-called "licensed version". Clearway Shield spews out annoying pop-ups that claim the system is infected by various parasites, and urges the user to download a useless anti-spyware program in order to take care of the issues. Clearway Shield also performs fake system scans that mark legitimate files as threats to create the illusion that the user's system is infected. Clearway Shield has neither the ability to detect nor remove parasites, and will only make your system slow, block legitimate security software, and disable system services. Remove Clearway Shield immediately before it takes control of your computer.
