Online Protection Tool is a fake pop-up alert that looks like a Windows warning. Online Protection Tool is part of malware infection which produces repeated popups on your screen that suggest you to install Online Protection Tool. If you experience this your computer is probably infected with a Trojan virus related to this scam. The warnings will appear every time the user uses the web browser and often results in the Microsoft Windows Update website being unaccessible. Users will also be redirected to other malicious websites which produce annoying ads. "Online Protection Tool" malware may also block the anti-spyware program already installed on the compromised computer.
