PC Codec Pack is a fake codec that comes from the same family of Luxe Codec XP. PC Codec Pack displays phony error messages claiming that your PC is unable to play multimedia files unless the fraudulent codec is installed. Once PC Codec Pack is installed, it will redirect you to the official website that promotes the scam product. Pay no attention to these misleading notifications. If you happen to install the PC Codec Pack or land on their website, perform a scan with reliable anti-spyware software to detect and remove the infections right away.
