"Protect your Visa card online with a personal password" email states that you need to protect your Visa card with a new password, and to activate it you must enter your card number. The email is quite deceptive because if you click on the hyperlink it will take you to the legitimate Visa site, but if you click on the button, you're taken to a scam site. Visa does not send out such emails. Always be wary of suspicious emails and don't click on anything in the email. Delete the email right away.

If you happen to be tricked by this scam, notify Visa and your bank IMMEDIATELY. You may need to close your accounts. In addition, remove the infection as soon as possible.
