Trojan.Gord
Trojan.Gord is a malicious Trojan which contains an annoying browser hijacker that acts like a Mozilla XUL application. Trojan.Gord will alter Firefox's default XUL overlay configuration file and redirect search results in the Firefox Web browser. Victims will end up at a corrupt website and face a barrage of pop-up warnings which claim the system has been infected. Do not fall for this and have Trojan.Gord removed immediately.
This trojan is so malicious you try to run regedit and it pops up with warnings, the same with ctrl+alt+del and control panel.. Fortunately it didn't block my spyware and antivirus prog (spyware doctor with antivirus) so with a full system scan its been picked up and when it completes it should be gone, or at least at bay so the darn thing can be expelled!
If only we could find the tools who create these buggers!
