ScreenshotWinDefender 2009, or Win Defender 2009, is a rogue anti-spyware program and is the new version to replace WinDefender 2008. Once you're infected with WinDefender 2009, you'll receive numerous fake popups that resemble Windows security alerts that state your computer is infected with malware.

Moreover, WinDefender 2009 may run a fake system scanner and then display fake system scan results stating that your system is flooded with spyware. WinDefender 2009's deceptive methods are designed to push you to WinDefender 2009's website (WinDefender-2009.com) or other malicious websites that distribute WinDefender 2009's full paid version. WinDefender 2009 may launch on every Windows startup.

The SpyHunter's Malware Scanner detects that WinDefender 2009 is the main threat for my computer, but everytime I try to register the SpyHunter, the WinDefender 2009 site appears and prevents me from doing so.
