ScreenshotAntivirus Trigger, also known as AntivirusTrigger, is a rogue anti-spyware program and clone of VirusTrigger. Antivirus Trigger may be installed in your computer by Trojan Vundo found bundled on corrupt shareware programs or you may have manually downloaded the program from a malware website. Once installed, you'll receive numerous fake system alerts or security alerts notifying you about supposed spyware infections. In order to remove these imaginary threats, you'll be urged to purchase Antivirus Trigger's "licensed" program.

Antivirus Trigger's fake notifications may read:

"System Alert! Your system might be infected with malicious software that may impact the performance of your computer. Click the icon for a free scan to detect any active spyware applications."

All links provided by Antivirus Trigger will most likely redirect you to malicous websites that sell Antivirus Trigger as a legitimate spyware remover. Antivirus Trigger has the ability to recreate itself after reboot. It is strongly recommended to remove Antivirus Trigger from your system upon detection.
