BlueKeep is a Windows PC vulnerability that may affect multiple versions of Windows, limited to Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, 2008R2 and potentially other older variations of the operating system. Being that BlueKeep is known to attack older Windows operating systems, it is still important to those running newer versions still beware of such a threat as it could infiltrate a system and allow hackers to access stored data.

Through the exploitation of BlueKeep, hackers may find paths to access infected systems through a remote connection. Such a threat makes a system vulnerable to having its files stolen, which may be prevented by prompt detection and removal of BlueKeep. The detection and removal of BlueKeep may be accomplished by using an updated and trusted antimalware tool.
