ScreenshotInternet Security 2011 is a rogue anti-spyware software created to lure computer users into purchasing it and yet gives the user nothing in return. Internet Security 2011 displays fake security warnings and generates a list of spyware results in order to convince you that your PC is infected with malware. The full version of Internet Security 2011 will not fix your computer problems, it is a waste of money. The malware results from Internet Security 2011's scanner are actually valid Microsoft files that are used to look malicious. Do not attempt to manually remove the files Internet Security 2011 detects because it may lead to Windows not working correctly.

Internet Security 2011 is known to not only be bundled with a rootkit parasite but in some cases it could easily install another rogue anti-spyware application or malware that causes the system to be unstable. The longer Internet Security 2011 stays on the infected system the higher the risk for serious system damages.

Internet Security 2011 is another clone of Antivirus 2010 and comes bundled with a rootkit; therefore, attempts to remove the rogue software may prove to be difficult. The rootkit changes permissions and prevents you from opening programs on your computer. If you try to open a program, the following message will appear: "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." or "Access Denied." In order to remove Internet Security 2011, you need to remove the rootkit to be able to execute programs such as a legitimate anti-spyware application. One way is to use cacls.exe (already available in Windows). To use cacls.exe, open your Command Prompt and type the following command:

cacls [complete path to the program] /G Everyone:F

For example, to launch anti-malware software SpyHunter, type the following command using Command Prompt:
cacls "C:\Program Files\Enigma Software Group\SpyHunter\SpyHunter.exe" /G Everyone:F

Replace [complete path to the program] with the path of the program file you wish to open. This command will give permissions for the 'Everyone' group to regain full control and be able to open any program. Do not fall for Internet Security 2011's tricks. Remove Internet Security 2011 before your computer is damaged by this worthless application.
