Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

The LazagneCrypt Ransomware is a file-encryption Trojan whose authors have implemented additional attack methods to ensure that the victims will lose more than just their data. Apart from encrypting the contents of various files and appending the '.encr' extension to their names, the LazagneCrypt Ransomware also will use a legitimate, open-source tool to extract the victim's login credentials and save passwords. All of the exfiltrated data will then be uploaded to the attacker's account on Swissdisk.com, a legitimate cloud-hosting service, which will probably close the attacker's account due to illicit activity.
There's no information regarding the methods used to spread the LazagneCrypt Ransomware so that, once again, the best defense against this threat would be to use a credible anti-malware software suite, which will take the necessary measures to keep unsafe files away from your computer. Failing to stop the LazagneCrypt Ransomware's attack might result in the silent encryption of all of the documents, media files, databases, spreadsheets, and other files stored on the hard drive. The LazagneCrypt Ransomware will use the open-source 'LaZagne' tool to extract passwords from the browser, FTP clients, e-mail clients, and other supported applications while the files are being encrypted. The exported data is then uploaded to a cloud server where the attacker can access it silently.
The peculiar thing is that the current variant of the LazagneCrypt Ransomware does not provide the victim with the amount of the ransom sum that has to be paid. Instead, it tells victims to contact wfmmp8@sigaint.org to find out how much money they'll need to send to the attacker's Bitcoin wallet address.
Unfortunately, the encryption used by this file-locker is not breakable at the moment so that its victims might need to look into alternative file recovery options, which are not guaranteed to work flawlessly. Prior to using any file restoration utilities, you should make sure to fully eliminate the threatening application by using a trustworthy anti-virus tool. However, you should not agree to send any money to the LazagneCrypt Ransomware's authors, since there's a high chance you might end up getting tricked out of your money.
