Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

The Mini001 Toolbar is a Conduit-based toolbar that promotes the Flash gaming site Mini001.com, but also includes numerous features that aren't related to these games, such as chat rooms and e-mail notifications. Most Conduit toolbars are categorized as Potentially Unwanted Programs, and the Mini001 Toolbar, like its brethren, also may hijack your searches and is needlessly difficult to remove. Because of the general drawbacks in the Mini001 Toolbar, removing the Mini001 Toolbar `9is recommended – particularly since having the Mini001 Toolbar installed isn't required for enjoying the associated website's gaming content.
A Mini Toolbar with a Deluxe Package of Functions that You Probably Don't Want
Despite being based on the Conduit toolbar family, the Mini001 Toolbar isn't content with providing Conduit's stereotypical search hijacks as a sole or even primary function. Instead, the Mini001 Toolbar provides access to its own site, Mini001.com, a website offering dozens of free Flash-based games that run in your browser. Separate components of the Mini001 Toolbar also provide other functions that largely are related to social networking, e-mail and other forms of Web communication. The Mini001 Toolbar clearly promotes Conduit-affiliated advertisements and other Conduit content through various browser modifications that the Mini001 Toolbar enacts.
When the Mini001 Toolbar is boiled down to its base sum, the Mini001 Toolbar isn't guilty of false advertising, but the additional functions that the Mini001 Toolbar bundles along with its online gaming links make keeping the Mini001 Toolbar installed on your browser more trouble than the Mini001 Toolbar is worth. The Mini001 Toolbar doesn't delete all of its files and settings changes for PC users who use normal uninstall techniques to rid themselves of the Mini001 Toolbar, which forces the Mini001 Toolbar to be classified as a Potentially Unwanted Program (or PUP), at a minimum.
How to Deal with the Small Toolbar that's Become a Big Problem
Since deleting the Mini001 Toolbar generally is more of an ordeal than it has any right to be, using anti-malware applications to remove the Mini001 Toolbar should be considered your first option. If necessary, you can support the removal of the Mini001 Toolbar with other security features, such as booting into Safe Mode or, in dire straits, booting your PC from a spare USB drive.
Although malware researchers have not classified the Mini001 Toolbar as a threat or its associated site as suspicious, they do warn that the Mini001 Toolbar may have a high chance of causing browser instability and other problems related to your ability to surf the Web. Protecting your PC from having to attend to these issues usually is as easy as avoiding the download sources that are most likely to distribute the Mini001 Toolbar through secretive or dishonest methods, such as hidden software bundles.
