Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

ReadyCoupon is a Firefox extension that may deliver sponsored offers to your browser, or 'coupons,' as injected advertisements. Because of the limited benefits of this feature, along with ReadyCoupon's suspicious distribution methods and installation format, malware researchers have categorized ReadyCoupon as a PUP (or a Potentially Unwanted Program). Removing ReadyCoupon and similar PUPs always should use proper anti-adware tools that can verify that your browser's settings no longer are being compromised.
Readying Your Browser for Advertisements
ReadyCoupon is an adware extension malware experts saw being distributed in April of 2015, although ReadyCoupon uses the same distribution models and features of previous adware. So far, ReadyCoupon only is verified as being compatible with Firefox and is installed via InstalleRex-WebPick, the same utility used to distribute software like WeekApp, ShopNDrop and ApptoU. All of these products may deliver new, in-browser advertisements as their primary features, which, like ReadyCoupon, they promote as beneficial shopping bargains.
Although ReadyCoupon's e-coupons do include some theoretical shopping benefits, they also may be injected via HTML modifications that may cause your browser's performance to suffer. Loading times may increase, and ReadyCoupon advertisements also may block some third-party content. Similar adware products installed by the same means as ReadyCoupon also have historical trends towards hijacking or otherwise modifying the user's search results, which may cause redirects towards unintended or threatening Web destinations.
Most InstalleRex-WebPick adware products may install themselves automatically, via free software bundles. Malware experts managed to verify some cases of the same installation exploits used with ReadyCoupon, coupled with an installation format that blocked any standard Windows uninstall protocols.
How to get Your Price Slashing without Pop-Ups
ReadyCoupon may pretend to be a shopping benefit to your browser, but prevents its removal and may represent both a security risk and a performance issue for most PCs. Unless you've installed ReadyCoupon intentionally and have particularly strong reasons for allowing ReadyCoupon to remain on your hard drive, its immediate deletion is the recommended response. Regardless of whether you use a brand of browser vulnerable to ReadyCoupon advertisements, deleting ReadyCoupon with suitable anti-adware applications will remove security issues that may leave your computer vulnerable to other problems.
Some anti-malware products may identify ReadyCoupon as a Trojan, such as Trojan.ADH.SMH. Although ReadyCoupon isn't threatening software, ReadyCoupon may be installed by threats, or be otherwise related to the presence of additional threats. Closing your browser, restarting your PC in Safe Mode and scanning your PC with appropriate security tools should provide any required, automated removal of associated, unwanted software.
PC users in the regions of France, Great Britain and the United States especially are encouraged to look for any signs of unwanted ReadyCoupon installers, which have the greatest rates of distribution in those countries.
