Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

Registry Cleaner Pro, also referred to as RegistryCleanerPro, is a rogue file cleaner that cons PC users by pretending to offer legitimate system-optimizing benefits, but fails to provide any of its marketed features – whether or not you spend money on Registry Cleaner Pro. Besides the fraudulent pretenses of its own functions, Registry Cleaner Pro also has been involved in multiple spam campaigns, and may use misleading methods to encourage you to install Registry Cleaner Pro. Malware experts recommend deleting Registry Cleaner Pro, like all scamware, with an appropriate (and legitimate) brand of anti-malware scanner.
The Results of Hiring a Fake Janitor for Your PC
Registry Cleaner Pro is scamware with little to set Registry Cleaner Pro apart from other PC threats in its same classification, such as the equally dishonest Repair Registry 2008, Registry Power Cleaner, Registry Virus Scanner or Registry Help. Malware experts have seen this fraudulent registry scanner being distributed via registrycleanerpro.org, as well as through some disreputable third-party domains and spam advertisements. Installation methods for Registry Cleaner Pro seem to be predominantly consensual, although there always is the possibility of a Trojan installing Registry Cleaner Pro along with other threats.
Ironically, for a self-proclaimed registry cleaner, Registry Cleaner Pro claims to have only a few functions related to the system registry (a general repository of program settings, such as which software is installed on your hard drive). Registry Cleaner Pro also claims to have broad features related to threat removal, monitoring miscellaneous Windows data and leftover program components, none of which are in actual evidence. While using Registry Cleaner Pro's system scans, malware experts found that Registry Cleaner Pro displayed predetermined results that are both inaccurate and could lure the average PC user into deleting harmless or even essential system files.
Current samples of Registry Cleaner Pro programs were not found to indulge in browser hijacks, software-blocking attacks or other forms of aggression reminiscent of most threats. However, Registry Cleaner Pro continues to be recognized as a rogue security program and, as such, is classified as threatening.
Cleaning out the Professional Fraud
While spending money on Registry Cleaner Pro is both a waste of money and a potential source of further attacks against any credit cards used for the process, malware researchers also would advise against letting Registry Cleaner Pro even remain installed. By itself, Registry Cleaner Pro only is a minor threat, but the possibility of additional threats being installed along with Registry Cleaner Pro always is mentionable. Naturally, legitimate anti-malware products can do just what Registry Cleaner Pro claims to do – and remove Registry Cleaner Pro and other threats from your PC with no ill effects.
Registry Cleaner Pro's campaign also is notable for the minimal effort its developers put into marketing its charade, which includes grammatically poor English and technically inaccurate descriptions of various security functions. If you need to replace your file cleaner, malware researchers suggest ignoring any 'products' like Registry Cleaner Pro, which show all the telltale signs of minimal effort put into Registry Cleaner Pro for maximum scamming potential.

Everything seems to want to force you to accept its presence on your computer, and I do not know how regclean pro got onto my computer, bt I have never attempted to purchase it but I have tried numerous times to uninstall it, but it says it is missing something and will not uninstall. I am sick of the harrassing reminder of the attempt to make me an ignorant monkey popping up on my screen. This should be a prosecutable crime to harrass someone on their computer without a hope of ending the mockery. Heop me find a way to remove this ittitant without taking a ball bat to my computer.
