Windows Smart Security is a rogue anti-spyware application designed to use misleading tactics to extort money from unsuspecting computer users. Windows Smart Security is a clone of another rogue security application called Live Security Platinum, Security Shield 2012, Total Security 2009 and Security Tool. Windows Smart Security can be installed without notification of the computer user. After installed, Windows Smart Security will display falsified infection warning messages and conduct system scans that return fake results. Windows Smart Security is not a legitimate security program for any computer.
