Question about Item - Respond Now

Posted: November 7, 2008

"Question about Item - Respond Now" email is another cunning crooked email phishing hoax out to fleece you of your money and private personal information. "Question about Item - Respond Now" email has an eBay company logo on it and wants you to confirm and update your account information at this phony eBay link. The email's text states "Hello, You still wanna buy my product?" Once on this eBay impostor site your information will be stolen by the scammers and used for illegitimate purposes causing you financial loss and distress. The actual legitimate eBay site bears no resemblance to this bogus site which the "Question about Item - Respond Now" email link brings you to. One tip off that this is a scam is the fact that eBay does not send out these types of emails.

Do NOT respond or click on the link if you happen to receive the "Question about Item - Respond Now" email. Give notification to eBay and forward them the email at once. If you happen to accidentally click on the link, send notification to eBay IMMEDIATELY because your personal sensitive information probably has been stolen from your eBay account and you could face some type of financial loss.
