Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

PC MightyMax is a fake anti-malware program from the WinFixer family, a widely-recognized group of scamware-based PC threats that are distributed by fraudulent websites like PCMightyMax.net. While PC MightyMax makes the claim that its scans are free, all of PC MightyMax's 'free' scans will list inaccurate threat alerts as a prelude to a request for paid registration. The paid version of PC MightyMax may look as though PC MightyMax can remove all PC threats, but SpywareRemove.com malware analysts note that this is because PC MightyMax never detects any real infection in the first place. Visiting sites that promote any form of WinFixer, including PC MightyMax, should be avoided, and PC MightyMax's deletion should be handled by anti-malware programs with a good track record of combating scamware.
PC MightyMax – a New Brand for a PC Threat That's Been Around the Block
Even though PC MightyMax's websites promotes PC MightyMax as a seemingly independent and reputable anti-malware product, PC MightyMax is easily detected as a clone of other members of the WinFixer family. PC MightyMax's relatives include equally-fraudulent scamware like Your PC Protector, DriveCleaner, PCTurboPro, Performance Optimizer, ErrorSafe, WinAntiSpyware and WinSpywareProtect. In spite of being a 'free' product, PC MightyMax is only capable of detecting fake PC threats and hard drive errors in its unpurchased version, whereas its purchased version will fail to detect any of these imaginary problems. As a simple scam that's typical to rogue security programs, SpywareRemove.com malware analysts always encourage you to remove PC MightyMax with the same anti-malware software that you'd use for exterminating any other type of PC threat.
Standard PC MightyMax infections occur through malicious sites that promote PC MightyMax as a supposedly genuine anti-malware program. SpywareRemove.com malware researchers recommend total avoidance of sites that promote other variants of WinFixer. PC MightyMax may also be distributed in Trojan droppers that are promoted as fake codec updates such as Emcodec.E.
How to Turn PC MightyMax into a Weakling
SpywareRemove.com malware research team has verified that PC MightyMax can infect most versions of Windows. However, other operating systems should be safe from PC MightyMax and similar WinFixer-based PC threats, although this doesn't indicate a similar immunity to all types of rogue security programs. Although PC MightyMax, like some variants of WinFixer, may offer an uninstall tool, SpywareRemove.com malware researchers discourage any usage of this utility in favor of deleting all of PC MightyMax's components with anti-malware software.
Most PC security companies have had a definition for WinFixer for years. However, as a new variant of WinFixer, PC MightyMax may be difficult to remove without updated threat databases. Other complications that SpywareRemove.com malware researchers have also noted in PC MightyMax infections include the presence of Vundo Trojans and negative alterations to certain types of web browsers (Internet Explorer and Firefox).

I purchased Spy Hunter and ran the scan.
I checked PC Mighty Max
I pressed the remove button.
I got the error popup telling me I had 2,385 errors right afterward.
Do I have to wait, restart, or something else for it to take effect?
I have removed the software, however, I cannot seem to delete the \\\"hidden icons\\\" and the PC MightyMax reminders continue to pop up on my screen every hour....how can I stop this?
Thank you much
Can you get rid of PC Mighty Max for me?

WHY IS IT I CANNOT REMOVE MIGHTYMAXW2010 POP-UPS FROM ENTERING
MY SCREEN. PLEASE ADVISE. IT IS VERY ANNOYING WHILE WORKING ON MY
COMPUTER HAVING TO STOP WORK AND ERASE EACH TIME. PLEASE TAKE CARE OF THIS PROBLEM. THANK YOU
I removed MightyMax as soon as I saw it was malware. However, I have not been able to delete the two separate popups that advertise MightyMax. You do not address this issue, so I am wondering 1) if you are aware of it; and 2) if your program removes the annoying popups permanently. Also, I am wondering if your program fixes registry problems. Currently, I use Optimize 3.0 to do this but it has not removed MightyMax. Thank you.
Please remove this ad from my PC
I removed PC Mighty Max 2010 by going to my control panel, hitting on uninstall programs, and deleted it from there. It worked great!
