SaveNewAppz, also known as SavveNewaAppuz or SaveeNewAppupz, is an adware program which browser changes to enable SaveNewAppz to load extra advertisements automatically. These advertisements are common sources of various security issues. Unlike with threats, SaveNewAppz may not hide its presence from you, but normal uninstallation methods may be insufficient for removing SaveNewAppz's browser changes, which can best be handled by tools with anti-adware functionality.

The App Savings that are Too Costly for Your PC

SaveNewAppz is an add-on that is compatible with the Internet Explorer and Chrome browsers (as a BHO, for the former, and an extension, for the latter). Joining the likes of similar programs like THEEBlockeeR or WeekApp, SaveNewAppz may be installed by third-party utilities like InstalleRex-WebPick, an installation manager that specializes in delivering adware. You may find SaveNewAppz under at least three variants of its common name, which malware experts estimate to be an effort to avoid easy identification and elimination by appropriate anti-adware security.

Just like other adware, SaveNewAppz's predominant purpose is to deliver advertising content through your Web browser, which SaveNewAppz manages by modifying Web pages immediately after loading. These advertising HTML injections may interfere with a normal Web page's format, block 'competing' advertising or cause poor performance for your browser. More importantly than any of these drawbacks, however, malware experts often rate adware advertisements as security risks that distribute unsafe content.

Thus far, SaveNewAppz hasn't been implicated in other advertising methods, such as pop-ups or other functions that would display advertisements separately from the Web pages you visit in the course of your Web-browsing activities.

Saving Your Browser from SaveNewAppz Advertisements

Although an occasional SaveNewAppz advertisement is an unlikely instigator for major security problems, SaveNewAppz's default display of recurring advertisements automatically is more likely than not to expose your browser to threatening content. This content may include falsely-labeled downloads that carry threats or PUPs, or embedded exploits that attack your PC without any interaction from you. Removing SaveNewAppz is, as a result, recommended by malware researchers, particularly taking into account its lack of reputability in terms of its distribution methodology and marketing.

SaveNewAppz sometimes is identifiable in your Control Panel as an installed program or an installed add-on for one of the aforementioned browsers. However, deleting SaveNewAppz without using proper anti-adware software does put your browser at continued risk of being affected by SaveNewAppz's changes, which may continue to load advertisements even after SaveNewAppz is gone. As usual, all-inclusive system scans by appropriate PC security tools will provide the most viable, long-term chances of removing all traces of SaveNewAppz's advertising from your PC.
